You can experiment with different blends instantly with its bean hoppers that can be swapped. Its profiles let you start where you left off. It's also less expensive than capsule machines and uses real beans instead of pre-ground beans.
1. Smeg BCC02
Designed by Milan-based firm Deep Design, this sleek compact and striking machine pairs the unique retro style of the brand with modern technology. It takes care of every step of the coffee-making process, from grinding beans and shaping them into a puck, to texturing milk and dispensing the correct amount of coffee - meaning you can make barista-quality hot drinks at the touch of one button.
The machine also features a stylish brushed aluminium front and is available in a variety of black, red or taupe, so it'll easily fit into most kitchen designs. It's not without its shortcomings however: the majority of reviewers thought it was a bit expensive for a bean to cup maker (and it doesn't include an milk pitcher).
But there were also many glowing reviews about the quality of the coffee as well as the ease of use of this machine. The digital display offers information and step-bystep instructions throughout the entire process of brewing which will allow you to perfect your drink every time. It will even alert you to tweak the size of the grind if it's not exactly right. It's like having a personal barista at home (minus Elon Musk's rocket building skills and Harry Potter's invisible cape).
This model is ideal for those who enjoy milky drinks. The steam wand is adjustable upwards and downwards to fit most drinking vessels, excluding Viking drinking horns. We were awestruck by the speed and efficiency of the frothing process as well. It also makes an amazing espresso with great crema and a full flavor despite its compact size.
The BCC02 is a great all-rounder, quiet and efficient and provides excellent value for money, especially at its current price of PS499. Its only real flaw is that it does not offer the same level customisation as other bean-to-cup machine s that we have tried. Its pump is 15 bars rather than the standard 19 bars. This is not as effective for making high-quality espressos. However it's a great machine to make coffee for those who like their coffee strong and dark. 2. Melitta Barista TS Smart
The Barista TS Smart is a superb bean-to-cup machine that has a lot of features that set it out from the competition. Its most unique feature is probably the fact that it can be controlled by your smartphone through the Melitta Connect app. This lets you alter the settings and then dispense different coffee recipes stored in the machine.
This makes the machine flexible and adaptable to your taste. There are plenty of options for varying the intensity of your drinks, as well as different sizes of cups, and whether or not you want to add milk. The machine comes with two airtight bean containers that automatically select various specialties. The machine is set to use standard espresso beans and cafe creme, which is a German variation of flat white or long black. However, you can select any beans you want. There is also a chute that can be used for pre-ground beans if you want to make your own.
Users have also said they are impressed with the speed of the machine. It is more efficient than other machine they have ever used. The machine also alerts you if one of its hoppers are almost empty. This ensures that you don't run out of your favorite beverage.
The price could be a problem for some. This machine costs nearly PS999. But, it's cheaper than similar Jura machines with similar features.

Barista TS smart is backed by a two-year guarantee. This is longer than the standard one-year warranty, which is a good indication of trust from the manufacturer. It also comes with the cleaning tablet and descaler, making it simple to keep on top of the machine's maintenance needs. This is a fantastic machine for those looking to purchase a high-quality and versatile bean to cup machine for a reasonable price.
3. Jura GIGA 6
The Jura GIGA 6 is an amazing espresso machine with the power of artificial intelligence to make the finest specialty coffees. It learns your preferences and rearranges the menu of coffees to allow you to select your favourite drinks. You can also select your preferred grind size, water temperature and milk and coffee foam quantities. The intelligent cleaning, rinsing and sanitizing programs can be activated by pressing the button. This allows you to maintain your coffee maker more simple than ever before.
A unique feature of the Giga 6 is that it has two coffee and milk spouts, meaning it can make two coffee specialty drinks simultaneously. The dual fluid and heating system in the machine makes this possible. The spouts can be adjusted in height and width to accommodate different cups. There is also a spout that could be used to make iced coffee or tea using hot water.
Another impressive feature of the Giga 6 is that you can customize and duplicate your favourite coffees. This is particularly useful when you want to drink the same drink in the morning and evening. For instance, you can create an original flat white using regular beans and then a duplicate with decaf. You can alter the ingredients such as the kind of milk you use or the amount sugar or cocoa.
Both the Giga6 and Z10 offer a broad range of customization options. To begin, you can choose from a variety of specialty drinks that are one-touch. You can also alter the strength of coffee and select from 10 different levels of milk foam.
The GIGA 6 and Z10 have a 4.3 inch full-colour touchscreen display and rotary switch that makes it easy to navigate through the numerous features of the machines. You can also connect the GIGA 6 to your smartphone via WiFi, which will allow you to download a range of apps that allow you to customize your favorite drinks from the at-home comforts of your home. This machine has only one disadvantage: some users have complained about the drip tray leaking. If you encounter this problem, be sure to contact the customer service team as quickly as possible.

Its high-pressure pump and patent-pending extraction system guarantees that each cup of coffee is flavorful, rich and silky smooth. Place a capsule into the machine and then press one of the two buttons to begin the coffee brewing process. The Espresso button will give you an espresso shot, while the Lungo button will run a greater amount of water to make a lungo-style coffee. You can pause the making process or stop it at any point. If you need more or less water you can alter the amount of water you use via the control panel.
Another great feature of the Inissia is its ease of cleaning. Every day, run a cycle with water without a capsule through the machine to eliminate any remaining residue. It is also recommended to cleanse the machine at least every three months to get rid of any calcium or lime deposits. Click here to view our video tutorial on how to descale the machine.
